How Stean Gorge Outdoor Centre

The Forbidden Corner

Hire a bike and hit the trails
Call Nidderdale Cycle Hire on 07821 463853 for day or week bike hire. They will deliver a family set of bikes to the cottage for free.
Stump Cross Cavern
Stump Cross Caverns is a limestone cave system created half a million years ago and an excellent day out whatever the weather.
Brimham Rocks National Trust
A National Trust natural spectacle of giant rock formations. Great for a few hours of exploring and a picnic.
Ripley Castle and Gardens
Seven hundred year old castle steeped in history with magnificent grounds, lakes, deer park, walled gardens, hothouses and kitchen garden.
