We are passionate about being as low carbon and sustainable in the choices we make in our life as possible.

We have applied these values to Fern Cottage as well where you will find:-

• 100% renewable electricity

• Electric car charging friendly (with smart charger coming soon)

• Reduced single use plastic, refillable product containers, compostable coffee pods and low carbon suppliers where possible

• Eco friendly, Vegan and cruelty free toiletries

It doesn’t stop there though, we are always looking for way to reduce our carbon footprint. Currently we are looking at:-

Solar PV

We are looking at the possibility of installing a small array, however, we are conscious of the need to be sensitive to the local conservation area and heritage.

Sustainable BioGas

We are currently talking to gas suppliers about being an early adopter of BioGas for our bottled gas supply. Once this is available to the domestic market we will be making the switch!
